    President Bid:n and his wife Jill were observed maskless leaving a DC restaurant, surrounded by secret service wearing mask, according to a story on Fox News.

    It was a violation of the restaurant policy, as well as DC major order.

    Luckily, no Washington Posts editors were in the area to make a citizens arrest.

    And people wonder why Americans don’t believe the propaganda flowing from the socialist left.

    peace to you

    Wow. I didn't even realize places still had mask mandates for restaurants.

    Well, it’s a city controlled by Dems so mask mandate is in place and yes, they exempt themselves from following the rules they burden us common folk with.

    Very surprised you didn’t know that. Given all you posts, I figured you had a flow chart as big as a warehouse with everything covid including mask mandates. Wink, wink lol

    peace to you

    In my state of NC it varies by county according to case numbers. In my county 6 minutes outside the city of Wilmington there is none. In Wilmington there is an indoor mandate in every building. Funny thing about restaurants is you have to wear one to go in but take it off to eat so it's just a formality.

    In this Tri-county region (New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender) we peaked a few weeks ago and are now dropping off. My wife and I have eaten in a few restaurants the last 3 weeks. I prefer outdoor but of the 3 two were indoor. We wear RN95 masks but like others in restaurants we take them off when seated. I try my best to avoid smaller buildings with poor circulation. I wear one entering buildings even in my county where there is no mandate.

    The out of state population moving in here the last few years has not let up and no sign it will anytime soon. I had the variant when it first broke out in our area on July 1st. It was wicked. So while I now have a natural immunity which I've no idea how long that lasts, that's why I still wear one when entering indoors. Call me gun shy but my wife has 3 co-morbidities and I'm so grateful she didn't get it when I did.

    Per the variant:

    I had the variant when it first broke out here on July 1st. I didn't have difficulty breathing Thank God but persistent low grade fever for a few days, a cough with the phlegm in my chest not moving that didn't clear up for around 9 days,and a sore throat from hell so bad I lay there for two evenings telling The Lord a couple of times I am ready to go if He'll take me. My wife would be fine at least financially. I can't remember how many bottles of NyQuil I took during those first days which allowed me to sleep around three hours while awake in between shots. So my sleep for around a week totally sucked.

    Around 4 days in swallowing was unbelievably painful. Like others who caught it I also thought at that point is was strep throat. Turned out that was not the case. At the advice of a good PA I've seen before, I began taking Acetaminophen to reduce the inflammation. I had this thing for 5 days before I saw him. So from that day forward was when I turned the corner.

    I slept in another bedroom for 7 nights so I wasn't coughing all over my wife but was in the house the rest of the day. She works from home, has several commodities, but has been on an excellent all in one group of vitamins endorsed by Tim Tebow since last November when we moved into our new home. She never got touched.

    In all honesty I'm a NY transplant who left that cesspool in 1989 to come here. I was a commercial fisherman. You're in a much better part of the State LOL

    Come down this way and you'll see why we went from being a solid red state to a swing state. It's a well known story I'm certain you're aware of that's taken place throughout the south.They come here which is good for home prices, businesses, everything that brings demand. These counties have been booming the last 4 years.

    The problem is they bring their politics with them. Since Covid there are license plates in this area now from almost the entire United States. Can't say I blame them. Hopefully they don't all think like NY although the recent influx I see of California plates in the last year concerns me. I don't blame them either but hopefully they don't tip the scales too much that way.

    We are extremely grateful and not by our design, we were led to have a home built on the north side of Pender County which is still rural with lots of farmland. Close enough to Wilmington but far enough away from it. We love it. Wilmington is bumper to bumper traffic and I get culture shock after spending 4hrs there LOL

    We're gettin the same here with the influx. I used to could get good pastureland here for 5,000 to 7,000 an acre up until the COVID hit. Since then all the land I've seen near me is going for 10,000 to 30,000 an acre, and that's for scald land.

    And the folks that are buying it here mostly ain't for the better. They come in here, knock down all the trees, stick a bunch of artificial lights up, stick a god-awful house at the top of ridge where everyone can see it. Then when their neighbor's goats/sheep/cattle get out they're more than likely to call the sheriff rather than help their neighbor get them corralled back in. I live way out in the county though, fifteen miles past the last incorporated town of 200 people. Every one calls this area of the county "deliverance" country, which is fine with me. Means we can keep our doors unlocked out here ;) and it keeps the "tourists" scared out of the area. The folks that do wind up moving to this section from out-of-state are the kind that fit right in. Farmers, welders, pastors, fisherman, etc.

    It's interesting to hear how different parts of this state are being affected. You sound Blessed and fortunate to be up there. Last I looked Tennessee was the number one state people were moving to. NC was number 10. In the city they slap up tract housing developments one after another. I'm not knocking that since I am in a tract housing development as well but at least they didn't clear cut it.

    But in the city of Wilmington the real estate crooks on the city council with the mayor being the worst recently passed an ordinance to allow taller buildings to be built. Out of horizontal land to build upon so now going up LOL

    On a different note, when I see the Tyranny we are living under that just gets worse as every week goes by, The only peace I get these days is knowing God is still in control no matter what administration is in office.

    Here's a few supporting verses you are probably already familiar with. I'm sure there are more. But quoting them actually is a great reminder for me LOL

    Daniel 2:19-23

    New King James Version

    19 Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

    20 Daniel answered and said:

    “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
    For wisdom and might are His.
    21 And He changes the times and the seasons;
    He removes kings and raises up kings;
    He gives wisdom to the wise
    And knowledge to those who have understanding.
    22 He reveals deep and secret things;
    He knows what is in the darkness,
    And light dwells with Him.

    Proverbs 21:1

    New King James Version

    The Lord Considers the Heart
    21 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord,
    Like the rivers of water;
    He turns it wherever He wishes.

    Isaiah 46:9-10

    New King James Version

    9 Remember the former things of old,
    For I am God, and there is no other;
    I am God, and there is none like Me,
    10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
    And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
    Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
    And I will do all My pleasure,’

    God Bless, and take care Brother.

    everything is up here on the Left Coast,. and I mean everything. Idiot Inslee has slapped the mask mandate on businesses, but at least half of the people are ignoring it in the stores and all.

    Biden and his wife have done this before. I remember when they met the Carters, who are both in their nineties. Joe and Jill walk to the Carter home wearing masks, go inside and then they take OFF their masks. But, then when they leave to go outside, they put their masks back on.
