Pt.2 GOD WILL ACTUALLY SHOW US, CLEARLY,
THAT HE IS VERY PLEASED WHEN HE SEES US PRAISING HIM!

    Even when we know,

"He hath done all things well",

"And we know that all things work together for good

    to them that love God..."

WE FIND OURSELVES "GOING THROUGH IT"
plenty of times where we still don't know at all
and where we may never know WHY God has allowed certain things
that have come into our lives and into the lives of others.

So, what is a Christian man, woman, boy, or girl, to do?

Well, we can be sure of one thing that we know
God has told us to do
and that's to "Praise the Lord".

We certainly have been shown, that David went about his life Praising the Lord!
That's what we see him doing all through the Psalms
when he is experiencing the worst of hardships,

and THAT IS undoubtedly the special reason
WHY God recorded David Praising the Lord all of the time,
for us so that we now know
what we can do and are to do,
    during our times of trial.

What are we to do then when times are tough?

God in the Bible says, "Praise the Lord!", and to:

"Praise the Lord", DURING THEM, over and over,

and to, "Praise the Lord", FOR THEM, over and over,
regarding whatever specific traumatic event and 'tribulation',
it is that has been brought into our temporal lives or that of others,

(SIMILAR TO OUR BEING TOLD, BIBLICALLY,
    TO LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
AND TO BE PRAYING FOR THEM AND DOING THEM GOOD,
BY THE POWER OF GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT),

    Not
that we are going to "Praise the Lord", FOR THEM,
as in a case where "there are babies
being legally murdered in our country,
every day, and also in and around the world", for example,

    but that we need to
    "Praise the Lord"
    that
there haven't been and aren't more babies
and others being killed every day,
and that things haven't gotten even worse,

AND WE ARE GOING TO ALSO,
    "Praise the Lord"
that we know God is in control of all things,

and AS WE PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME, WE KNOW
    that the overall situation(s), CERTAINLY,

WILL BE RESOLVED by Him, to HIS GLORY, sooner or later.

So, WE DO KNOW this is ONE THING
GOD HAS OPENLY REVEALED TO US THAT WE CAN DO
    ,
    and that is we can
    "Praise God!",

even when we are in the middle
    of some overwhelming situation,
like having been taken captive, per the O.P., when

WE WOULDN'T KNOW WHY GOD HAD ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN!

Pick your Poison and 'fill in the blank', IN YOUR MIND'S EYE,
with the specific traumatic, hurtful experience you've had,
or you're having in life, and/or in your heart and emotions,
    and
WATCH AND SEE WHEN & IF GOD CHOOSES TO SHOW YOU!
THAT HE HAS BEGUN TO MOVE! AND TAKE CONTROL!
OVER THAT ISSUE OR SITUATION FOR YOU!,

    WHEN YOU
    "PRAISE THE LORD",

    as you are Enabled SPIRITUALLY,
when The Holy Spirit IS GENERATED in YOUR SOUL,
and Gives you the Ability, in your circumstances,
    to
"PRAISE THE LORD" OUT LOUD!, over and over,
AND EVEN SILENTLY DOWN IN YOUR SOUL, over and over,
just like David and others are shown to us
that they did here in The Psalms where God says:

"Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD.
    Praise ye the LORD"
    , Psalm 150:6,

"O praise the LORD, all ye nations:
    praise him, all ye people"
    , Psalm 117:1,

    "Let the people praise thee, O God;
let all the people praise thee,"
    Psalm 67:3,

"A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name"
    , Psalm 103:1, etc., etc.

And, as our example of how often we are supposed to know
that we are to definitely be
    Praising and Worshipping and Rejoicing in the Lord;

"HOW OFTEN DID DAVID "PRAISE THE LORD"?

    "A Psalm of David,
    when he changed his behavior before Abimelech;
who drove him away, and he departed.

I will bless The LORD at all times:
His Praise shall continually be in my mouth"
    , Psalm 34:1

PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES!, No matter what!

    And then, WHAT HAPPENS?

"Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD,
which HE WILL SHOW YOU TODAY..."
    Exodus 14:13b,c.

    "DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD
AND HE WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART."

When you "Praise the Lord" as you "Delight yourself in the Lord"
and God then gives "you the desires of your heart",
is that going to be an instance where
WE CAN SEE THE LORD MOVE?

    Sure. All right, then.

And, we can "Praise the Lord",
that He has also privileged us TO SEE HIM MOVE
and teach us this particular Spiritual revelation, too!

    Remember,
GOD WILL ACTUALLY SHOW US, CLEARLY,
THAT HE IS VERY PLEASED WHEN HE SEES US PRAISING HIM!

    EVERY DAY, BUT ESPECIALLY,
DURING TRYING TIMES WE ARE EXPERIENCING,

Because IT IS IN TIMES OF TROUBLE LIKE THAT
WHEN WE ARE STILL PRAISING HIM
THAT HE MAY SHOW HIMSELF TO US,
BY RESCUING US FROM THAT VERY SITUATION
WE HAVE BEEN PRAISING HIM ABOUT.
