    Good morning all:

Got up at 2am with Viv (actually she got up before me for some reason...said she felt funny and couldn't sleep). We had our coffee and then she felt fine. I know she's been frustrated the past few days at work. She said it seems like she's going nowhere with Dell and is going to let her supervisor know in their "one on one's" that she wants to move from "burn" to another job on a higher pay level. She's been in burn for several years now, and she's doing a lead persons job without the pay. Her super asked her the other week if she wanted to train to be an assistant Specialist, and she said yes, but she's heard nothing else about it. She's going to ask him about it today. Don't get me wrong, she's not complaining that Dell is a bad place to work, she's just burned out on her position. But, she says she thinks things will be better soon as some people are talking of leaving and going to the new plant in North Carolina and some to Austin, TX.

It's cold here. 32 and sort of icy rain turning to snow flurries. It's going to struggle to reach 40 today. Guess it will be a good day to finish taxes, work on the website for church, and to get this office finished for my writing and Viv's home biz.

Ya'll have a great day, and please remember to pray for our daughter, Sandy Gramlich and her soup kitchen in Rochester, NY. They are supposed to get several inches of snow and they will be packed with homeless people because of it. We worry because some of the people who come in are really very rough and threatening.

Good morning, good morning - unusual to see anyone here this time of the morning!

Praise the Lord for Sandy's soup kitchen work in Rochester!

    Good morning all:

I was having puter problems again last night and still having them this morning. The puter man will be here after I get back from the corner this morning. If he has to take the computer with him, I will be off line again...

It is cold and windy here, but no rain or snow, so I am counting my blessings!

I have two large bags of clothes for the grandchildren in WI and several sets of sheets and pillow cases that I got off of FreeCycle. I am going to pack them into boxes this morning and call UPS. I'm sure the boxes will be too large to send through the post office.

    Cruising,

    Wake up, people! [IMG]

I've got early morning duty, which means I've got to be at school monitoring the first bus load at 6:40 (my time).

Let me leave you with two thoughts for the day. The first one I found on the private women's forum. It is quite inspirational to me.

"If you want something you've never had, you've got to do something you've never done."

And the second one is from Lamentations. It is an encouraging verse and has been my personal favorite for a few years.

    Lamentations 3:22-23

"Because of the Lord's great mercies, we are not consumed.

    His compassions fail not.

    They are new every morning.

    Great is Thy faithfulness."

Was yesterday and the day before just a big, fat mess? Has your relationship with God been pathetic lately because of disobedience on your part or laziness on your part or spiritual immaturity on your part?

Then, guess what! For the christian, you can start over with God today. This very morning. [IMG]

His mercies and compassions never run out.

They are new EVERY MORNING. [IMG]

    Have a great day. [IMG]

    I'm off to work.

    Peace-

    YSIC

Good morning, good morning, blessings on your heads. [IMG]

I'm getting better . . . slowly, but hope is dawning.

Hope you all are doing really well today.

Got caught up caring for the little ones and Nick's schooling so I'm just getting online for the day. Jack's gone til Thursday and Ty's down for his nap. He was up at 3:00 a.m. his mom said because of the wind noise!

It's STILL windy here! I slept well but when I woke at 5:30, it was blowing terribly hard. We're having wind gusts of 38 mph and it's to be a low of 20° tonight. We always have some super nice days with a day or two of frigid temps right as spring arrives.

The forsythia are blooming, daffodils are up and in full bloom, cherry trees are budding and some other trees are already covered with bright pink flowers. We're down to DAYS for spring now. [IMG]

We've got wind too, Daine. You must have sent it up our way. Blustery business stepping outside.

We've got daffodils and crocuses and those purple, pink, and white things I don't know what they're called. . .

Yesterday was spring. Today is rainy, snowy, and blustery! And cold!

Dropped from 50 to 10 degrees since last night. Snowing so hard, at times, you can't see your hand in front of your face.

Any transplanted Yankee would give up this greenhouse life just to BE YOU padre . . . (Well, any transplanted Yankee worth his salt.)

It's 44 here right now, but feels a whole lot colder! The wind is whipping good, and the siding on the house sounds like it's going to get torn off! It's supposed to snow/ice either tonight or tomorrow night. Everyone is heading to the store from Dell. One lady lives about 1 mile from here on County Line Road and she works the same shift as Viv. She said if it's bad, she's not going in. Viv's already told them the same.

A lot going on here right now. Still trying to get the taxes done. I'm going to have to do 2 Schedule C's for Viv's businesses. One she didn't make one sale, but had several larger expenses on. The other, she had some income and several expenses on, too. So, I guess it would be worth it to do.

For those of you who filed online through the IRS site, was it worth it?

Padre...was Rochester supposed to be getting plastered?

Tony, we got our refund in less than 2 weeks so, yes.

I picked up my after school kids and took them home. Their dad works for Lockheed and is on strike. I'll be paid my full pay if they come or not. I only have the 3 year old (and our Nick) this afternoon and Ty is snoring still. Waking at 3:00 a.m. did him in! His mother gets here around 5:30 so we can have our supper on TIME tonight.

Jim's heading out after supper to engineer a CD for a community choir in a big town nearby. They did a first cut last week and there's a couple of ladies who sing WAY too loud and happen to be close to the mics. That's being 'fixed'. He usually makes about $500. for the total job which includes a master ready for pressing. [IMG] I usually am in bed before he gets home on those nights. [IMG] He came in early and we've got one of the Gaither videos going.

Thanks, Diane. I'll probably get them filed tonight or early tomorrow. Were there any fees associated with it?

They're not getting the snow but you can count on the single digit temps. BTW that could be anywhere from 9 below to 9 above ZERO! Rochester is about 2 1/2 hours west. [IMG] [IMG] to your daughter.

Got an extra room. Bring your woolens!

Only if you filed state through them, Tony. State was $19.95 to file and $19.95 for direct deposit. We got our state refund sooner than our federal refund. [IMG]

Margo, we're closer and would save you a LOT of money.

Hey, just checking out my options. Do I detect a worried mother? Is Jon that hard to get rid of? Kidding . . .

Well, he's a decent looking chap. And I'll bet you knew a photo of a guy holding a baby was really gonna get to me, didn't you? LOL [IMG]

    Decent looking chap?!!!!!

You gotta be kidding me! If Jon was over here in my part of the country the women would be swarming over him. It wouldn't even matter that he makes a good living, as nice looking as he is, he could find a wife that would support him!

Margo, you better move fast on this one before I show Jon's picture around to some of the young ladies here.

Diane, I have a daughter. Think Jon would be willing to wait about six years for a nice well trained Christian girl? ;)

    Howdy all!

Whew what a day. My spring cleaning got a big boost today! I've been cleaning since early this morning. The upstairs looks pretty good and I carried all of our bedding out to the laundry mat and washed and dried it all at once. Some of the pillows are a little damp still but they'll dry before bedtime.

Hope you have had a good day!

He is a nice looking young man, Diane. And the baby is extremely precious, too.

It's too bad that I am old enough to be his mother. Er...Jon, that is, not the baby. I'm old enough to be the baby's grandmother.

GADS!! I can't believe I just said that!

    Peace-

The girls swarm here too but Jon's picky. [IMG] Margo, I'm a wonderful mother in law and want more grandchildren! The 2 married kids won't have any more unless they get a surprise. [IMG]
