    About the same that I think of Benny Hinn, Ken Copeland, Joyce Meyer...

    ...and some of their BB fans :rolleyes: [​IMG]


    Going back a bit one of the tv channels here had Copeland, Hinn, Hickey & Meyer all in a row in the mornings...2 hours worth of it. I called it the 4-ringed circus...with these "teachers" worse than a blue-ringed octopus :eek: ;)

    I heard Marilyn Hickey speak at a church recently. My head hurt when I read she was speaking there. When she was done, my head hurt worse. I felt she focused more on Marilyn Hickey Ministries and what she feels SHE is doing rather than anything of the power of God.

    I will state facts only. A group of singers came to our church once and my wife bought a CD from them. As far as she knew they were not tied in with any other groups, however, shortly thereafter Marylin Hickey Ministries started mailing her cards saying that she had committed weekly payments of the same amount as the CD (exactly).

    I asked her if she filled out anything, and she said they wanted your name and address so they could send updates from their group. Obviously, they were selling the names to MHM.

    I was NOT impressed.

    It took about five years of calls and threats to get her off of the Hickey mailing list. Hickey would even send books out and then bill for payment.

    You should have seen the prayer cloths she was trying to sell. They were afghans that would have covered my body. She was trying to sell them during the sermon. I was not impressed.

    Hickey is a "quack"----a female preacher caught in the "blackhole" of Health and Wealth context with the ability to "lead away captive silly women"(and men---emphasis mine)

    Heretic. She is also grooming her daughter to continue to peddle her wares. You want to laugh because she is so false. Yet you want to cry because so many folk are gullible. She is selling false merchandise at the expense of people's souls. The book of Jude comes to mind when you listen to her type. There is a payday a coming for people of her persuasion.

    When I was a new Christian, I got caught up in the WoF mess.

    I was really into Marilyn Hickey.

    She wouldn't know the Bible if you whacked her in the head with it (in itself, an idea that deserves further consideration).
