4/8 seeing the partial eclipse on the ground underneath a tree. Multiple images under the shadows of a tree. In Southern California.

I was on the total opposite side of the country from you; Houlton, Maine.
Clear skies, warm weather (it got up to 60 degrees today).
We sat in a churches parking lot with about a hundred other people - one couple from as far away as Seattle and watched a marvel of God’s creation.
Darkness for about 3 minutes then sudden daylight, like a light switching on.

I’ll be traveling and vacationing for the next few days as we return home. Pictures to follow (they need to be processed).
