As the Los Angeles Times asked the other day in an editorial, "How can a place with 58,000 homeless people continue to function?"

The editorial noted: "As homelessness spreads across Los Angeles County — the official tally shows a 46% increase from 2013 to 2017 — it is drawing two conflicting responses, at times from the same people. There’s sympathy and a desire to help, but there’s also a sense of being invaded and perhaps even endangered — in terms of both physical safety and public health..."

How can a place with 58,000 homeless people continue to function?

Ted Hayes, homeless advocate, said two weeks ago on the Bill Cunningham national radio show from Cincinnati, Ohio, that 95% of the homeless in Los Angeles County are black. What is going on?

The Democrat controlled State government (super majority in both houses of the State legislature and a Democrat Governor) has put the state into a condition of insolvency. This has caused many businesses, especially good paying manufacturing jobs, to leave the state resulting in unemployed and unemployable people.

California's loss is Texas's gain. Texas now has the best job market in the country.

Hayes is saying that all the illegals in California have forced American citizens out of work and out of their homes. There seems to be something going on when the homeless are members of one ethnic group almost exclusively.

The horrible economic conditions of California for poor people illustrate the futility of building a high-speed railroad from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Who would even want to ride such a thing?

Why isn't California doing something about water shortages?

Is Gov. Brown insane?
