One Pledge is gone

while another is new




and even one to a foreign country


and here is one that my school district is using:

I know everyone is different and we should celebrate our differences. I promise to respect people the way they are. People look different, act different, and believe different things.

I promise to:
Use kind words
Include everyone
Treat everyone equally
Try to get to know people who are not like me

We share a World: We are all different we share one world; I welcome others differences. I know that I will make the world a better place

What is the difference in pledging allegiance to the flag and to our country? I don't understand the principles point in this first story.
