Here are my questions:

1. Since when do major drug cartels advertise themselves?

2. If it's the drug group's official sign and they're WEARING it on their shirts, jackets and possibly on their vehicles, why are officials having much of a go at busting them and breaking it up? I mean come on, seems like these would be any drug officer's dream team of a gang!

3. Ummm, what am I missing?

Here are my questions:

1. Since when do major drug cartels advertise themselves?

Ever since they've taken control of whole areas of Mexico. It's like marking their territory. Similar to gangs spray painting their symbols in the U.S.

2. If it's the drug group's official sign and they're WEARING it on their shirts, jackets and possibly on their vehicles, why are officials having much of a go at busting them and breaking it up? I mean come on, seems like these would be any drug officer's dream team of a gang!

In the U.S. you need probable cause. Wearing an alphabet letter on your person is not probable cause.

In Mexico, the drug agents are probably being bribed by the Zetas so they look the other way.

3. Ummm, what am I missing?

Knowledge of the treachery and corruption the illegal drug trade fosters?
