I just came across this news item (appears to be legit) from just a few days ago. It is about forbidding Christian schools from using Bible passages that might be offensive to certain groups.

Was wondering if anyone has any more info on this.

Canadian no longer living in Canada and there are definitely strong anti-Christian elements, particularly in the education system. My wife was a high school teacher in two boards in the Toronto area.

This cbc article presents the board's perspective where they say they do not want to restrict what the school can teach. The article you posted seems pretty legit from the school's perspective and suggests the board wanted to go beyond the handbook which the school agreed to change already.

IMO the highlight is this point expressed in the article ~

"ordered by a public school board that it partners with"

Anytime something has a "partnership" with a government, be sure, that government WILL be wielding Power over that something.
