You mean to say there are no Episcopal churches in Iran from which to transfer the liturgy?
This is absolutely disgraceful by the UK Home Office. They don't use the Koran to keep Moslems out of Britain.
They do have to check that asylum seekers are genuine, but Iran is Number 9 on the Open Doors 'Worldwatch' list Iran - number 9 on the 2019 World Watch List and there is very good reason for Iranian Christians to fear for their safety in their own country.
I understand that the official who used these verses has been reprimanded and the asylum seeker's case is being reviewed.

I think that we heard some of that line of reasoning here in connection with the New Zealand mass shooting although no one said anything about the Nigerian massacres of the same week, which were worse. When May leaves, maybe the UK will be better.
