What did he add to Holy Scripture by his arguement.

Something scripture does not directly support.

To claim ". . . only . . . " when there are admitted exceptions is therefore not true.

What explicitly in the Holy Scripture is not supported that you are referring to?

We have no direct scripture to support the gifts coming in any way beyond the two outpourings or through an apostle's hands. Faith come by hearing the word. So you have only fleshly belief in this matter.

You need to back your claims with direct quotes from scripture or they are nothing but opinion.

Not true. Acts of the Apostles 10:43-46 is a primary example. And that does not exclude through the laying of hands of the Apostles. That is the difference.

Acts of the Apostles 10:43-44, ". . . To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. . . ."

All hat and no cattle. You cannot support your "third way" claims from scripture.

And it (Acts of the Apostles 10:44) alone proves your argument false.

You make no sense here. Define your terms. And I have supported my arguments. Or are you just making false accusations?

I see. Unless something is explicitly stated in scripture, God's hands are tied.

No, you are adding to scripture when you pontificate.

If you go by scripture alone, which is a good thing, the gifts came only through the two outpourings or through an apostle's hands.

Faith comes by hearing the word.

So, like John the Baptist, who was indwelt with the Holy Spirit in the womb.

Like the Roman Centurion whom Jesus "found faith in".

I'm sure I could find other examples.

What did he add to Holy Scripture by his argument? Or are you again resorting to false accusation?

Apart from the two outpourings, or through an apostle's hands, scripture mentions no third way of receiving the gifts.

Provide scripture showing a third way so you don't add to scripture.
