Chicago Tesla charging hub— FAIL!!!!

There are a lot of issues. Too cold, can't charge. Too hot, too much a strain on the grid.
If I bought one, it'd be a hybrid. But I don't foresee that happening.
That said, I am all for electric vehicles. Let customers decide what to buy. I just don't like having to find them with my tax dollars, and leave my gasoline vehicle alone.
Let the market (without government interference) decide which vehicles are purchased.
Just traded my Challenger (kinda sad about that). It wasn't old (a 2021) but also wasn't practical. They no longer make Challengers because of government regulations.

Wow… my son studied with Porshe for 2 years to head their EV division for the maintenance portion with US distributors… this is a major issue for his career. He did tell me it’s probably a good time to buy a used Tesla.. he likes that particular vehicle over even the Porshe… but then everyone who works for a particular Manufacturer understands the goods & bars far more than the competition. I can’t wait to ask him what problems are going on, he collects that type of information

Again I read it’s the Tesla charging station so Tesla is shipping new ones in from China to resolve the malfunctioning ones. Sounds like it caught them by supprise. Oh well…innovation be damned, give me a gas operated motor vehicle any day…. Enough with the toys!
