Did we grab the small fry and let the real terrorists get away?

Fox News: Sources say US letting Benghazi suspects off hook, Khattala arrest ‘small potatoes’http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...spects-off-hook-recent-arrest-small-potatoes/http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...spects-off-hook-recent-arrest-small-potatoes/

Despite President Obama's promise to stay focused on hunting down those responsible for the 2012 Benghazi attack -- and despite a recent arrest touted as a major takedown -- sources say little has been done to nab the other suspects.

According to multiple sources on the ground, including some with direct knowledge of the operations to identify and hunt the Benghazi suspects, intelligence that could have been acted upon at times has been ignored or put on hold. Further, they say, the recent capture of Ahmed Abu Khattala -- now on a ship bound for the U.S., expected to arrive this weekend -- was an easy one.

"He was low-hanging fruit," one source told Fox News. "We could have picked him up months and months ago and there was no change, or urgency to do this now."

Former Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack. Khattala was long thought to be involved, but is also considered by some to be rather low on the suspect list.
If this is true, that the U.S. could have captured the "real" terrorists -- assuming they exist, as the sources which appear to be quite reliable indicate -- but let them slink away while leaving behind someone who might be described as a "fall guy," it borders on the appearance of evidence of giving aid and comfort to the enemy and dereliction of duty, by the nature of the president refusing to give orders to capture the men responsible for the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Foreign Service Information Manager Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALS Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, who were on private security company assignments contracted by the CIA.

The issue is far more complex than what on the surface appears to be grandstanding for the media, trying to take the focus off all the other issues of the day in order to appear to actually being doing something. The issue is of either complete ignorant incompetency on the part of the White House, or something far more sinister: The deliberate manipulation of events, creating such a complex smoke screen of scandal, irresponsibility, and political intrigue so as to hide the real intent and purpose behind the White House's maneuverings.

No one can be this incompetent, ham-fisted, and oblivious. I am slowly coming to believe there is some purpose, however contrived, complex and misguided, to this constant drumbeat of scandal and stupidity.

Ahmed Abu Khattala one of the master minds behind Benghzi? Maybe HE was the one who saw that Youtube video and started it all, amiright?

It wouldn't surprise me if he was found to be the third one on the right in the attack video, throwing rocks and firing a gun in the air, crying "Allahu Akbar!"

By the way, he's in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON – Ahmed Abu Khattala, one of the men accused the deadly Benghazi attack is now in U.S. custody, officials confirmed Saturday to Fox News.

Khattala is being held at a federal courthouse in D.C. amid tight security.
Yeah, wouldn't want him shouting at the media, "I didn't do anything! They let the real terrorists go!"
