Now, the way I read my Bible, it appears to me that every person on here; Tim, Jedi, BigBossman, rbell, Mitch, and MP among others; are just as much a sinner and deserving of death as Dr. Tiller. Given that, would any be so quick to rejoice in the murder of one of the above?

Having read your other spin answers - I will try to reword the question.

So quick to rejoice as who has?

I agree... Surprised? Why do I agree? Because I don't rejoice that Tiller was killed.

And I deserve death. I deserve Hell. But I thank God for Grace and Mercy...

Grace: getting what I don't deserve... Heaven
Mercy: NOT getting what I do deserve ... Hell

Tiller I hope heard the Gospel, and had a chance for the same Grace and Mercy that is offered to all of us.

But apparently he rejected it. Thus, the wages of sin is death...

Do I rejoice? NO. I am saddened that this man may be in Hell...
Now multiply that saddness by the thousands he murdered that never had a chance to live outside the womb...

And I do rejoice that his clinic is closing.

One other thing I rejoice in is that God is always fair, and just.
I also rejoice in the fact that in the end, Good will destroy evil.

MP, my apologies. The list of names, in proximity to the word "rejoice"--I jumped the gun.

I've been surprised at how controversial this particular thread (and others like it) have been. My take was pretty simple: Tiller did horrific things, and a civilized and moral society (how much more so a nation who says, "In God We Trust") should have never allowed his infanticide to be legal.

But also...in a civilized and moral society (how much more so, again, for a nation with "the Motto"), vigilantism must be condemned and punished.

Both (Tiller and his killer) are murderers. Some folk don't see the abortions as such (how sad is that?), and others would claim that Tiller's murderer did nothing wrong (again, how sad is that?).
