It is reported that the Castro families and friends had a lavish caviar party on September 8 but that should surprise no one. Equally bazaar, Raul Castro exacted tribute from starving Venezuela as planeloads of emergency goods were flown to Cuba from Venezuela, which illustrates one again that Cuba has made Venezuela a colony.
The Havana oceanfront was flooded for blocks and people waded through waist-deep waters.
