Hawaii and Pre-school

Hawaii has put forward a plan to make preschool available to all 3 & 4 year olds' by 2032
They will need 465 new classrooms.

do we really need 3 year olds in pre-school?
and will this be 5 days a week?
Full Day, 1/2 day?

Me thinks that mom should be teaching her 3 year old.

The author notes the abject failure (negative success ) of nearly all such programs (there was one tiny, super expensive exception), then says they should nevertheless continue the practice hoping it might one day work.

One should wonder just how many generations he would be willing to sacrifice to the experiment. But I think I already know the answer to that.

I think it is possible they want to start their indoctrination as soon as possible, starting with our boiling seas...

True. One would think that this is an area where churches could provide useful service to their communities. However, they cannot afford to allow government money run their outreach.

The government cares little about the children, they want the women to work.

Results
1. Increased the number of working individuals (women now working)
2. As a result they can claim a reduced general welfare burden
3. Leading to an increase in taxes collected
4. As well as adding a new benefit (child care) which the workers will have to depend on the government for.
5. AND an increased government payroll (workers will be paid through government funds), so officials can claim that they can't cut taxes.
6. Bonus: the government also gets to indoctrinate the children a few years earlier.

Overall the bloated government bureaucracy sees this as a win.
