Military on alert!

The Texas thingy made them jumpy no doubt. Let's pray they find them first!

From what I read it was a combination of that, the revelation of specific states and a specific number of Isis in the US with some sort of specific threat. They do not willy nilly raise alerts on bases in the US. It causes all kinds of other issues.

It's really not that big of a deal though. They call these every single time there is an incident like this just to be safe. I've been through several in both the military and now as a civilian. The gate guards will just inspect the ID of everyone in the car instead of just the driver. The Pass/ID inspections for contractors and delivery vehicles are stepped up but day to day stuff is business as usual for the military themselves. It's nothing to get worked up about.

Once when picking up my nephew from drill I was stopped by the gate guard at Damneck who told me, in a stern and serious voice, "Sir, I can't let you in because you don't have a pass."

I responded, with a little irritation because I had just driven over an hour an half in the usual traffic snarl one meets when getting closer to the beach "...I didn't have a pass last week and they let me on!"

Guy stands back and says "I can appreciate that...go ahead."

I laughed as I told my nephew and still laugh about that today.

God bless.

Yeah, I work at Naval Station Norfolk so not too far away from Damneck.

My brother and Nephew, and for Pete's sake, a niece as well, are all in the Naval reserves (though my brother is basically out but still interacting, (was) a Gunner's Mate in a special boat unit).

The guard's reaction, though, took me by surprise, lol.

I have learned to have a lot of respect for our Navy.

God bless.

To put it in perspective: Alpha is the lowest, Delta is the highest. So even though they're in Bravo, they still have Charlie before they get to Delta.

So -- Bravo, not that big a deal.

Washington wants the fear level raised.

It means they're after another one our rights.

Washington is ISIS' sugar daddy. They're in a symbiotic relationship.

The "solution" will be a federalized police force.

"to keep you safe".

The proper reaction is BE SCARED! Then receptive.

A new law and bigger more intrusive government is on the way to save you from the nightmare.

Wake up. Y'all act like you've never witnessed power being consolidated before.

Dude, they just move some traffic cones around and check more ids and I'll get a few more emails. Not exactly Nazi Germany.

No, you're right. It's corporatized America 2015.

The corporate elite have the science of manipulating the masses down to a tee now. What I mean by that is the Nazi's we're just beginning to understand how to manipulate public opinion. The corporate sponsored spin doctors of today have advanced the art of persuasion to a science.
