One may see this as simply the response of one creature to another........ or as the illustration of God's grace in an through his creation.
It is so easy for us to applaud each other .....or in this case .......applaud another creature: Why not praise God that He still cares for all the creatures in his creation and gives illustrations of his love and power and the goodness which he desires: All creatures, both great and small, are under his authority: How seldom we recognize God's authority, and presume upon it...... taking credit to ourselves or giving credit to other creatures instead of praising God for his goodness and giving him the credit and the glory when his creatures commit an act which is exceptional and truely beyond their own power ..... without his having provided the skill to perform it. If we could all come to the recognition of God's authority in our lives.... and submit to Him without our dependancies on our own logic, doing according to his will without concern for our own goals and outcomes.... what a change might be wrought in this world!
billwald, would it not be better, rather, for us to judge ourselves: What gain is there for us to set ourselves as judges of others..... when God alone is judge.... and by what judgement we judge another... becomes a standard by which we may become judged: Who among us can foreswear that we will do thus and so in certain circumstance or not do thus and so in other circumstance.... only to find ourselves tried and failed in the power of our own resolve?
