I most certainly AM from the south.

Born and raised and still live in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Where 98% of everyone aound me do not know the proper use of gravy...mashed potatos. :thumbs:

Gravy in meat? NEVER! Gravy on bisuits! NEVER!

Seriously...I've tried it and I just dont like it on stuff like meat and biscuits. Everyone else does, but I go for butter on bisuits, and meat with no gravy.

Gravy on mashed potatos?....you betcha! :thumbs:

Gravy on mashed potatoes is yucky. It just ruins a good potato. Gravy on bisquits is gooood! What kind of gravy are you putting on your bisquits? It should be sausage gravy! Oh my goodness!
Oh well, bisquits are also good for butter and honey! Yum!

Of course I'm southern! I regularly say "y'all" in conversation. :wavey:

I attend a Baptist church, I love the Kentucky Derby, I get all emotional when they play "My Old Kentucky Home", I absolutely love Soup Beans with chopped onions in them, and my favorite "secular" musical group is the Allman Brothers Band!

None! I dont put no gravy on my biscuts. I cut them in half, and then put butter on each half. THATS how you eat biscuits.
