Richard M. DeVos, a co-founder of Amway Corp. and the father-in-law of U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, died Thursday at his home in Ada, Mich. He was 92.

Delegates from the Reformed Church in America and the Christian Reformed Church in North America were in a celebratory mood Thursday as they met in an historic joint session at Calvin College....It was the first time delegates from the two synods assembled to chart new evangelistic waters since they parted ways 154 years ago.
