New Barna Poll: 1 in 3 Christians Do Not Believe George Barna Exists
The s3xuality issue is more prominent than most people give it credit.

One of the things Barna never seems to be able to do well is offer solutions. (Of course not, its easy to critique...hard to change) It would be curious to see a poll on how many of these young Christians slide into irregular church attendance patterns and end up connecting (loosely) with mega-churches that are largely composed of younger people (under 45.) That number is probably pretty high.
Most of our traditional churches don't know how to handle the issue above. They simply trumpet old, cliched phraseology and expect people to get on board. (And the replies to this will prove my point) I'd suggest a nuanced and carefully articulated, honest discussion of s3x and s3xuality would be a good starting point.
I still contend that young adult Christians are staying associated with church, even returning, but it isn't to the traditional churches of their youth and their faith is (unfortunately) deeply syncretistic/pragmatic.

This is an interesting article: http://www.relevantmagazine.com/digital-issue/53?page=66
Should the local church be a hospital for sick people or a club for the saved? Can it be both?
I thought it was interesting and might even be correct about how they are thinking. But Barna's research always seems to back up whatever he wants it to back up and usually has something to do with a book he has written or is helping to write.
