Last school year - about 1200 Central NY students had religious exemptions from taking required shots.
This past year, NY State passed a law which no longer permitted a student from excising a religious
exemption - the only exemption now allowed is a medical one.
This law pertains not only to public schools but ALL private and CHRISTIAN school!
1) shouldn't this come under the "so-called" separation of church and State?
2) And what business does the State have in telling a Religious school about its standard.
Open for discussion.

NOTE: This is NOT a discussion whether a child should have the shot or not - rather it is about the rights of the family.
