Former New Hampshire governor John Sununu asked a CNN reporter a number of questions many conservatives have likely wanted to ask about the media’s obsession with Russia and President Donald Trump today.
Chris Salcedo praised Sununu on “The Chris Salcedo Show” for taking anchor Alisyn Camerota to task for her baffling efforts to tie Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner to alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
Sununu, who is not historically known for being a Trump supporter, said that in the months following a transition of power, everyone is trying to meet persons in the administration.
She then told him he should be concerned if there was collusion with the Russian government. When he asked if she saw any, she was forced to admit, simply, “nope.”
“That should end your reporting right there,” he concluded.
