Mexican authorities are reportedly cracking down on migrant caravans from Guatemala and Honduras traveling through southern Mexico, and Monday night, Mexican immigration authorities arrested nearly 400 illegal immigrants near the town of Pijijiapan, not far from Mexico's border with Guatemala.

AMLO surprised me with this much-needed move. Many Mexicans reportedly say that all these people from Central America are inconvenient. As I understand it, by international law these illegals have to accept an offer from the first country Mexico or return home.

Cities like Tijuana and Cd. Juarez have crime waves and murder epidemics and Mexico DF has not been sending any money north to care the thousands of indigents. Even though Mexico is the colossus of the north, there is still miles of squalor in every part of Mexico. But then we have lots of squalor in American big cities, too. Indianapolis refuses to shut down people living in hobo jungles along the White River (it's racist) and the numerous railroad lines.

Oops, that sounds all mixed up. You don’t get rid of illegals in sanctuary cities. There’s no such thing. That’s what it means to be a sanctuary city, a place where illegals magically become legal. Besides, you need all of those folk to increase your strength, through diversity, y’ know.

Nyah, not saying it’s possible, just that it will take some real cooperation and coordination to get rid of illegals, and we don’t have anything close to that yet, not even in the courts. They are not legally deemed illegal enough just now. Far too many loopholes and aiders/abettors.
