In today's edition, The Tennessean has an article on the Two Rivers Baptist Church vote to accept the terms for Jerry Sutton's retirement. The vote was over 78% in favor. Next Sunday will be his last. My church recently called a new pastor. Our process was relatively controversy-free. It took 19 months. It will be interesting to see how Two Rivers handles their process and what changes they do (or do not) make in the way the church is governed.

I'm thinking that Two Rivers might still oughtta' go after the guy on eBay, assuming they still got the $3 grand left in the finances for the "Shipping and Handling".

Somehow, it sorta' seems fitting.
