Before the numbers came out I predicted the U.S. GDP would grow at 3.0% or more in Q2.

What are you nay-sayers going to post when the 2nd quarter GDP numbers are posted and it's above 3%? Then what are you going to post when they are revised upwards six weeks later to 3.3%?

Wait, let me guess--It's a lie.

Then the numbers came out and the GDP actually grew at 4.0%.

Well, now the numbers have been revised upwards to 4.2%.

WASHINGTON — After a bleak start to the year, the U.S. economy grew at a brisk annual rate of 4.2 percent in the April-June quarter, the government said Thursday, slightly faster than it had first estimated.

The upward revision supported expectations that the second half of 2014 will prove far stronger than the first half.

Our economy is amazing!

In spite of all the obstacles Washington places in the way, it continues to bounce back.
