But check this: Bond was set at $50,000.
So...someone arrested for raping a kid can get out of jail by posting a bond of only $50K?!?!? Why would you possibly offer bond for someone accused of this crime??
This is happening everywhere now. I understand allowing bond for people busted for non-violent stuff...but how on earth are we now letting pedophiles and murderers and rapists out...knowing full well they'll do it again???
I know it'll never happen...and it probably would open up the "worm can" too much...Maybe it's time to start penalizing judges when they let someone out, and they do something else.
I'm tired of this. Unless there's something I'm missing here, we've got some of our judges that are making some profoundly stupid decisions that endanger the public.
