I'll tell you! Those dingdang ice cream trucks! All the time coming around and making me tell my children no. Why, it just shouldn't be allowed!!! I should never be forced by marketing and commercialism to tell my kids no! Matter of fact, I shouldn't ever even have to tell my kids no. The city government should protect me from having to perform such a traumatic and dramatic act. No more ice cream trucks!!

Honestly I don't know if it is about not having to tell their children no. There is a mentality that says if it contributes to childhood obesity then it should not exist anywhere. Of course the minions get on the emotional bandwagon and act with no real thought. These are the same type of people that voted for Obama.

I think the real culprit is the cost of operation of ice cream trucks in NYC (cost of fuel, licensing etc) all thrown back to the consumer ... if these parents gotta pay $15 bucks for a lousy ice cream sandwich, they get distressed..... takes money away from their own recreational drug habit budget so my advise is quit wining, take a pill & go buy non fat Klondike bars at the supermarket. Feed that to your fat over indulged kiddies.
