It's good to see that for once the federal courts recognize the intent of these laws and aren't afraid to strike them down.:):Thumbsup

Tooth and nail. They depend on voter fraud and never want it to go away. But they are always interested in making it easier.

And if they do, they should be a different color or design so they are readily recognizable.

Used my CHL instead of driver's license. No problem.

Why? If they come into a DMV for a DL why not just arrest and deport them?

That's fine with me. Only legal immigrants should be able to get a license. It should still be different and easily recognizable. I want to be sure they are capable of driving and understand our traffic signs and laws.

And The GOP depends on voter suppression. Too bad the AG and the courts aren't gonna let them try and rig the election unfettered. I know that disappoints you law and order types.

Yes or No: do the dems depend on voter fraud to win elections?

Yes or No: Have the Repubs fought to enact racially discriminatory laws in states where they are outnumbered in order to try to suppress voting to close the gap in their lack of numbers?

Yes or No: do all citizens have the same opportunities and means of acquiring a government photo ID?

No. Requiring an ID from EVERYONE to vote is not discriminatory. Duh!

(Unless, of course, you believe the race you are claiming is discriminated against is too stupid to know how to get a free ID. Is that what you believe?)

I voted today. I am an old white guy (with Hispanic ancestry that does not show - my Celtic heritage overrides it.)

I was asked for my Texas ID and my voter registration card.

The man in front of me in line was a man of Hispanic descent. He too was asked for his Texas ID and his voter registration card.

The woman behind me in line was a woman of Hispanic descent. She too was asked for her Texas ID and her voter registration card.

Now, explain to me, without obfuscation, how any of that is discriminatory.

Who doesn't? And why? (Are you insinuating that minorities are too stupid to know how to get an ID card?)

Yes or No : Did the republican governor of Alabama reopen 30+ DMV offices because he realized that not everyone had the same means and opportunities of acquiring a government photo id?

The GOP ain't completely stupid. They recognize that folks are onto their schemes. But like some of y'all are
#AlwaysTrumpnomatterWhat, some of ya are gonna tow the party line no matter how wrong you really know it is.

Weak attempt to obfuscate. That ain't why the laws are being found to be discriminatory. But you know this already. I guess y'all REALLY do think everyone else is stupid lol.

Wow, aren't you just brilliant? I guess they were too stupid to stop slavery and the raping of their wives and daughters too?I guess they were too stupid to know how to get their freedom then too? Or maybe they were too stupid to think that all those old white men who were preaching Jesus to them would somehow exhibit the same character of that Jesus?

Sounds like you're the one implying that they're to stupid because they can't combat the Jim Crow laws of the 21st century?

But that's okay. Their President is Black and his justice department isn't gonna let lil ole scared to lose power old white men railroad people out of their right to vote under the guise of protecting the system from .000whatever % supposed voter fraud.

So, you think he shouldn't have opened them? Are you against minorities having equal access to state IDs?
