    I had first pick last season (with a different league) and guess who I picked? Yep, LT, and he ended up not performing very well. Good luck!

    i was gone yesterday and unable to pick. So what is going on? Am I at the bottom or what? If not I´ll take third if that is available.

    Tom, I know we're a few days from the draft, and I haven't analyzed the points system you've setup yet, but here's a nice article from AJ Mass at ESPN about setting up a balanced fantasy scoring system. Might be worth a read.

    I'm not sure what to tell you, because LT scored more fantasy points than anybody not playing QB. I'll tell you right now that with the first pick of the BB FF draft, I'm taking LT. I'm not expecting that he'll win me a championship all by himself, but he's the best choice to start my team.

    4His....I'll give you the selection AFTER Cellar Dwellar because I already put them on the clock.

    Then we'll go with the order as planned.


    As far as scoring, there may be a few tweaks. If so, it will come no later than tomorrow. There were a couple at the onset.

    I decided not to be in the league this year - not a fan of individual defensive players.

    But for what its worth - last year I was dissapointed in yahoos ranking of defensive players. I had to leave early and had to auto draft most of my defense - many of the players yahoo selected in the auto draft were barely on thier teams and I had to completly re do most of my defense...my team was less than stellar. So word to the wise - be sure to rank your own defensive player and DO NOT trust the yahoo rankings!

    I sent a message to Yahoo asking about that and never received an adequate response. We had a draft last night in another league I'm in and I think Yahoo has fixed their defensive rankings. In addition, they've done a lot of work with their interface and have made it much easier to use.

    That would be a real shame. It is your call but couldn't you just use the order from your random selection already established from your Excel spreadsheet to fill in the remaining slots of those who don't participate. It would still be random, but not ruin it for the rest of us.
