White supremacists have a much more defined pattern of burning black churches than do young black teens trying to "stir" things up.

Evidently there are some here who are more informed about the ongoing investigations into these church fires than the investigators themselves are.

TWITTER WARRIORS FALSELY REPORT SPATE OF ‘BLACK CHURCH BURNINGS’

Several are not cases of arson, one church isn't even 'black'

In the wake of the Charleston shooting, so called social justice warriors have played a huge role in promoting a contrived race war, because, you know, it’s good and progressive to have everyone feeling divided and angry.

The latest example of this comes in the form of drawing attention to numerous incidents where churches have caught on fire and, in some cases, burned to the ground.

With the latest incident coming last night in South Carolina, as the Mt. Zion AME Church caught ablaze, reports began to circulate that it was the SEVENTH ‘black church’ to be burned since the Charleston shooting.

Yep, again sensational allegations without proof.

Looks like the dividers of the world have united.

We can take one of those churches off the list. It was a white church and it was struck by lightning.

Here's what CNN has to say about the other six: http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/30/us/south-carolina-church-fire-mount-zion-ame/

Make of all that what you will, but I'm not rushing to the conclusion that white people are running a muck burning down black churches.

Even one such hate crime fire is one too many. However, we ought not to be jumping to conclusions, but to pray that thorough investigations will be done with subsequent legal actions as approriate.

Has there really been a surge in black church burnings?

"A July 1 Time article cited eight churches within two weeks, seven of them in the south, three of them judged arsons, one deemed electrical, and several others 'preliminarily' believed to be related to lightning. Two of the churches turn out to be primarily white churches, including one in Ohio, and another in Tennessee. None have been judged hate crimes yet. . . .

"Some coverage has taken the time to point out that about 1600 churches in the U.S. suffer fires every year, 16 percent of them due to arson, which means on average at least five churches suffer arson every week."

‘The investigation is complete': ATF concludes Mt. Zion AME fire caused by lightning; DOJ releases statement

As Twitchy reported, the #WhoIsBurningBlackChurches hashtag has been going strong on Twitter as rumors spread on social media of an “epidemic” of black church burnings. The media has been falsely accused of ignoring the fires; there’s actually been quite a bit of coverage. Unfortunately, a great deal of that coverage has been less than objective, suggesting some sort of connection among the fires without providing any evidence.

Twitchy reported last night that a fire that gutted the Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greeleyville, S.C., on Tuesday was suspected to be the work of a lightning strike, and today the ATF has announced its investigation has confirmed that suspicion.
