I would like to clarify my vote by saying that the Bible is inerrant in is OA on all issues (science, history, doctrine, you name it.) It is not man's interpritation of the OA or any translation that is inerrant.

Thank youBrother BCF Jeff -- I thought that was what the response meant.
It is kind of hard to explain all the ins&outs of a response in a couple
or three dozen letters. Thank you expressing that position so adequately.

I think the Bible has errors in it. It's the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that are inerrant :)

What do you hope to accomplish with these polls Ed?
I had to vote so I could post. (Couldn't figure out how NOT to vote and still ask the question.)

Doesn't really matter how many vote against the true Scriptures. They will still stand the test of time, since EVERY version since then has compared itself to the Majestic Book of books.

    So what is your point?

    Consider three of the readings:

3 The Bible is inerrant in the original autographs 30 58.82%
4 The Bible is inerrant only in the KJV1611 AV 4 7.84%
6 The Bible is inerrant in all faithful English translations 4 7.84%

My answer is #6, which is the correct answer, IMHO.
    Bro AV1611jim probably voted #4.
But almost four times as many people as voted #4 or #6
have voted for #30, the majority opinion.

My point: Most Baptists believe in the inerrancy of the Holy Bible.
What those 'most Baptists' believe by 'inerrancy of the Holy Bible'
    varies.

AV1611jim: //What do you hope to accomplish with these polls Ed?//

I hope to continually illustrate my point which is bolded above.

AV1611jim: //Doesn't really matter how many vote against the true Scriptures.//

    Amen, Brother AV1611jim -- Preach it! :)
Especially those who vote #3 with the majority (those who
have no 'original autographs' Scriptures to examine)
and those who vote #4, the KJVs, only some 0.8% of the true Scriptures.

    AV1611jim: //So what is your point?//

haven't we had this discussion before?
And shouldn't you really be called AV1769jim?
    or AVsJim?

Ed said, "And shouldn't you really be called AV1769jim?
    or AVsJim?"

    We've been over this before.
    I LIKE the handle.
Shouldn't you be called Mr. Ed?
    Get my point?
