I just saw a 60 minutes advertisement stating that Jenkins was 'held against his will". They say they will interview him Sunday.

    Has anyone heard this before?

The last I heard, Jenkins went AWOL, and the US Army gave him a 30 day sentance after he went back to Japan.

Does anyone know if there is anything to this 'held against his will"?

I never believe any CBS "news" program.

    True

But, I was still surprised to hear this. I don't even think that I have heard that jenkins has tried to say that he was not guilty in the past.

Forget CBS. Now that Dan Rather Jr. has been hired as anchor (was it 15 or 50 mil), I've deleted that channel.

I think the against "his will" refers to his DPRK hosts. In other words, once he went north of the 38th parallel, his "hosts" wouldn't let him go south.
