    Yeah, I served with the 508th PIR (Airborne Combat Team) at Bragg. This unit has been disbanded, and reorganized so many times that I am sure I wouldnt recognize the colors if I saw them. And all due to funding by different presidents.

    I think now that the 325nd has absorbed all of the old 508th battalions, but I could be wrong.

    There are no answers to the question here but there sure is a lot of socialism being advertised as the cure all. When will the country learn that the answers are not in more government? When will the citizens stop looking for the government to solve all their problems and take care of them from cradle to grave? When will we stop handling over our money to others to be redistributed less gross handling fees? Obama sure is for "change" but, unfortunately, it would all be in the wrong direction.
