A former student has lost her baby......

    (Yesterday, Friday 9/26)

    Please pray for a former student of mine named T.

    She is 20 and has been married for a couple of years to a nice young Christian man. I am so proud because she was a little "advanced" in high school. NOT bad. NOT wild. Just....you know....advanced.

    She got pregnant back in March or so and has had much trouble. She has had to see specialists in Baton Rouge and Shreveport on a regular basis. They've told her repeatedly that something is wrong with the baby (spina bifida) and that she has the option to abort.

    She has told them no everytime. She tells them that she will raise her child no matter what is wrong with him. It's a boy and she already named him. She also said that God could take her baby, but she won't and they won't.

    I am so proud of her.

    Well, yesterday, God took the baby. She is having to have labor induced today and will have to deliver a dead child.

    Pray for her and her husband today.

    Please.....thank you.

    (Today, Saturday, 9/27)

    T. has not delivered the baby yet and she is rather miserable. They finally started this process yesterday (Friday) at 2:00pm. It's now Saturday at 11:21. The doctor came in and did a procedure this morning and is increasing the meds. She should deliver sometime today. But it is a sad time instead of joyful! So please pray for T.

    T. delivered their little boy yesterday evening (Saturday) just after 6:00pm. That made for about 28 hours.

    She & her husband got to hold him for 10-15 min. Maybe that will be closure for them .....but is there ever really closure? I don't know. I haven't been through this.

    Her grandmother said she did well all the way through, it was just long.
    Grave side service possibly Wed. afternoon.

    Thanks so much for praying and please pray for their days ahead. You know - going home and packing up all the baby stuff.

    This prayer request has moved me to tears!
    Please Lord Jesus, be with this young married couple as you comfort them
    with the loss of their baby son. May you heal their broken heart and give
    Scarlett O. Your wisdom to help this family through this very painful situation!
    May they read Your words of encouragement and comfort from your precious from the Bible. May they become a stronger couple because of this happening
    and may they be used to help others who have a similiar experience.
    We bring this request to the God Who hears and answers prayers. In Your
    Name we pray. Amen.

    :praying: to Lord, for healing from the pain to this young couple who have
    lost a precious baby. Let your healing presence be with them at this time
    of their need of comfort. In Jesus' Name,Amen.
