I rarely post here. I am bothered my the, well lets just put in bluntly, ungodly spirit which seems to permeate it. Thought we could do with a reminder from AV on our behaviour -

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

Galatians 5v13-15 (KJV - or KJB if you prefer)

    Which KJV?

For the newbies: each two weeks somone
has to start a topic on how bad the discussions
in this Forum are. Sadly, it fell the lot
    of our friendly Irishman: Christ4Kildare.

Sometimes it's "tough love" when we combat a false doctrine advocated by a fellow Christian.

I knew it wouldn't last long. Brother Roger made a valid point and now yall start dragging the dead hobby-horse into the thread. Since when, Cranston, is it false doctrine to believe we have the Bible? Well, I suppose you would call it a false doctrine when you make the doctrine up.

Thank You Brother Roger/ Christ4Kildare, I have been admonished. Anyone else for game?

QuickeningSpirit: " ... is it false doctrine to believe we have the Bible?"

No. And i have somewhat against my MV friends.
My MV friends in majority believe only the original autographs
were inerrent. We don't have the original
autographs. I want a real Bible, and i want to touch it
with my hands. Fortunately I have such a Book:
In fact three books that are labeled KJV and
about a dozen with other labels like: NLT, NIV,
New Century Version, The MESSAGE -- each contains
the inerrant written word of God in English and collectively
they contain the inerrant written word of God in English.

Anyway, Bro. QS, looks like a switch and bait
for "the Bible" is different from "the Bible is
    ONLY contained in the KJV.

    Ed, KJVO#1
    (of course KJVO#1 = KJV-preferred).

Thank God, we HAVE the Word of God.

And a number of excellent English translations of it, too.

For any to claim one of those man-made translations to = original Greek/Hebrew is sadly mistaken.
