... yours truly . H.R-C. will bow out of the race on Feb. 20th . Obama will beat her yet again in Wisconsin and she will finally see the handwriting on the wall and quit . She will not wait for the humiliation of being creamed on March 4th in Texas , Ohio , Vermont and Rhode Island . The hyped-up "Clinton Machine" will finally break down . Many will gasp and shake their heads in disbelief .
McCain will enjoy his success for a season , but it will be short-lived by the time November rolls around .

It doesn't look like Senator Clinton is putting much effort into Wisconsin. She was in El Paso on Tuesday night. She has adopted the Giuliani firewall idea, except instead of being Florida for him it is Texas and Ohio for her.

Ken , do think she'll stay in the race longer than Mike H. on the Republican side ?

    Rippon,

I find it so amusing that you can be so wrong on so many political issues so much of the time.

The joke works either way, depending on your orientation!

    I will admit it.

I'm an equal opportunity jokester .

StefanM, registered Republican (shocking, isn't it?)

I love politics. I don't like politicians. It makes for a fun mixture!

When I was a kid growing up, my dad was a local politician, and he and a state congressman had it in their mind that I was going to marry the congressman's daughter, and go into public service!!!

    Boy were they wrong.

I did want to go into politics a little bit before I was called into ministry. Although the example of Huckabee shows me that there is still hope :).

And I find that remark insulting and smug SM .

I am not the all-seeing and all-knowing one . I have poked fun of myself -- especially with this thread . My forte does not lie with political predictions ( so far ) .

You obviously think you are right about political issues most of the time -- how nice for your ego .

Politics is earthly . Theology is not . It's full of certainty . I'd rather be wrong about my "lame political predictions" than in the realm of scriptural doctrine . It is in the area of soteriology that you are decidedly weak . But I do not find that amusing or worthy of gloating over .

It was a joke. I apologize if I offended you. I meant it only in reference to your political predictions, which you have admitted yourself are often inaccurate.

Don't we all think we are right about whatever issues we believe? Otherwise we wouldn't believe them.

I'm assuming your soteriology reference is to my denial of Calvinism. If I'm wrong, I'm sure God will straighten me out in heaven. It's by grace we are saved anyway, not by soteriology.

All in all, don't take this seriously. I was only making a lighthearted joke. I mean no offense. :wavey:

Here is a lame prediction. Whoever gets the Democratic nomination will be the next President, but without my vote.

Hey, in trying times one does whatever is necessary to survive; lame humor, bland jokes, weeping, moaning, et al, ad infinitum!!:sleeping_2::praying::tear:

As predicted it was a lame prediction . I think HRC did not concede on Feb. 20 th just to spite me . ( "I will not let Rippon have the satisfaction ..." )

She did lose in Wisconin . Obama is still on a roll and the Clinton machine is still sputtering though . We'll see how accurate the rest of my OP will prove to be .
