A McCain-Lieberman Ticket????

    How would conservative Republicans react if Senator McCain picked Senator Lieberman to be his running mate? Would they overlook Senator Lieberman's liberal economics and social policy because he is agrees with President Bush about the Iraq conflict?

    I have always liked Joe Lieberman. It was a step down for him to be Algore's running mate.

    Honestly Ken, I cannot think of anyone that M could pick that would make me want to vote for him...

    Huckabee would be close... but I know that would be wrong for you...

    But even still, I don't think I could.

    I have a great deal of respect for conservatives such as you, tt, and others who will stick to their principles and not vote for Senator McCain. :thumbs:

    As a forlorn letter writer to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette stated several weeks ago he was having a hard time choosing between the Democrat running as a Democrat and the Democrat running as a Republican.

    I like Joe Lieberman and have a great deal of respect for him. I would not vote for him for President so him being on the ticket is of no value. In fact the vice is of no real concern to me.
