There were nations other then Israel God punished in the bible. And seemingly you think God will pay no attention to the fact of murder.

 

Again, the Bible says that life begins with the first breath. And as I have said before, I am not thrilled by this, but that is what the Bible says. From a biological point of view I would agree that a life begins at conception. I am not sure about your DNA arguement and will think about it. DNA is in every cell in the body. It is interesting, at least to me, in that mitracondrial DNA is passed only by the mother.

Now, I understand your reasoning on the moment when life begins, as I have read your posts, but I see that this thought pattern is not in line with the OP - but it is a unique and different topic. So, since it is not prudent to hijack this thread, you should open another thread dealing with the question: When does human life begin? As you may know, this question is very popular within the scientific as well as the religious communities. And while you are at it, you should consider the two fundamental questions, which are related to each other, namely:

1. When does human life begin?

2. Should all human life be given equal protection under the law, or can certain human lives be discriminated against, and, if so, on what basis? :type:
