Our cat has been getting up on the counter and licking the toaster.

Has anyone ever had a cat do that?

    Any reason why?

Maybe the cat IS toast! Stuff his little head in the slot and give the handle a push. He will never lick your toaster again. Ever.

    ya'll are sooo bad!!!

Salty, your cat licks the toaster because cats are weird and like to do things to make the humans they own wonder. Mine like to sit on the counter next to the Keurig. No, not because they want coffee, but because the thing is warm all the time!

Put the toaster in the freezer overnight and place it back on the counter. The cat's tongue will freeze to the metal on the toaster and she will stop licking it. Problem solved!

A simple solution seems to have taken care of it.
I put a dishtowel over the toaster.
Why didn't I think of that sooner :BangHead:

I hope the cat tongue does not get toasted......

My beast ALWAYS wants what I am having, I bought a water pistol from a $ shop and after a couple of squirts, I just have to pick it up and she offskis.

If you eat vegemite toast, the cat will be wanting some of the salty Salty...hehehh.

Canned air works as a deterrent on my cats when they are into something I don't want them to be into. LOL, most times I only have to point the can in their direction. And it being only air, there are no worries when I'm point toward the cat sitting in front of my tv or the one that is tangling up in the wires behind it.
