I was happy to see that I'm not the only person on the BB to start a post and be blasted by the same :1_grouphug: group of people that confronted mes228 on his topic: Why Isn't This Racism?

At least they weren't lying to me when I posted my Poll:There Are Cliques on the BB. I now have renewed hope. Hope that allows me to start a topic and NOT feel singled out when the same old gang, gang up on my topic [not me, personally], take it over, and move to bash my topic and personal thoughts into the Terra-firma beneath where I stand on this board.

May I offer my deepest sympathy to mes228. It looked like you had a great topic, but, it was like a horse with a target on its head, and it didn't stand a chance once it came out of the gate. My deepest sympathy also goes out to BroBob, who once again got caught up in the spinning vortex of slurs, spin, and endless arguments slung his way for simply and innocently getting involved in with mes228's topic.

I am beginning to see, as time moves on, what works and what doesn't. The truth is, some topics are just destined to end quickly at the hand of the moderator [not their fault, they are simply doing their job] in an effort to preserve the quality and good name of the board.

It's just a shame that some very good topics are targeted for early destruction by what appears to be the same old group of members.

I am regressing with this topic, because I have learned what works and what doesn't [and this topic won't work], and I now feel much better because I can clearly see that I am truly not the only person who gets roughed :tonofbricks: up when I present a topic that was JUST not meant to be.

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul

PS: Please :praying: be easy on me when you take me apart for this topic. I knew ahead of time that this might cause an uproar :tonofbricks: , but, I had to jump in for the sake of controversial topics.

So at the weekly cross burning, which one of you brings the kerosene, and which brings the matches?

    I'll bring the fan....

Good question Magnetic Poles. Is it okay if I bring my trusty, battery operated fan, to fan the flames?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Didn't you already do a thread with the same whiney OP? Just be a man and confront me directly, if you have something to say to me.

Unless you need to rally up some support first. Then take your time, by all means. I'll still be here.

It is never ok to promote racism.

Thanks rd2, its a shame a discussion on the subject can't be had without being called a name. I listen to news all day, and they have round tables and discuss the same subject matter and no one calls the other a name, and if they profess to be Christians, I do not know it.
The good Lord did give me enough knowledge and ability to stand up to anyone, so I will be just fine.
If someone wants to throw heat at me, I don't mind. I do hate the misstatements made against me though. I would rather have a discussion, instead of hostile interaction, but it seems that is the way it goes sometimes. Thanks again,

What some call racism, is not. It is what is called "truth", and both sides should be able to discuss truth. As I said, I watch them debate the same thing all day and half of the night, without the name calling. Shame, Christians can't do the same.

    BBob,

When I see a thread with the words "tongue and cheek", I sort of expect to see something humorous and tongue-in-cheek. There's nothing humorous about this topic.
