Maybe the Constitution doesn't apply, I don't know. But, we should be sure that the person who is being charged is actually guilty. There is a possibility that someone innocent just got picked up on false charges. As Americans we should do all we can to see that the innocent person is not punished. And, as Christians it is even more important to be sure of a person's guilt.

If the one accused is guilty of terrorist activity, they should be punished severely.

Honestly, I don't have any idea if he is guilty or innocent. Do you think he is guilty?

Where did we pick him up ? If we pick them up actively engaged against us, you'd be hard pressed to prove constitutionally they have the same rights as citizens,

Not all detainees were picked up in combat against the U.S. This is why they need trials. Holding people without trials or a defense is wrong. Being accused or arrested does not equate to guilt.

I never said he was innocent, nor did I say he deserved constitutional protection. If you read my postings again you will see what I said, or do you just want to argue?

In the United States every person is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Or at least that's the way it was before the Bush administration came along.

    This is from Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalid_Shaikh_Mohammed

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was a member of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda organization, although he lived in Kuwait rather than Afghanistan, heading al-Qaeda's propaganda operations from sometime around 1999. According to the 9/11 Commission Report he was "the principal architect of the 9/11 attacks". He is also thought to have had, or has confessed to, a role in many of the most significant terrorist plots over the last twenty years, including the World Trade Center 1993 bombings, the Operation Bojinka plot, an aborted 2002 attack on Los Angeles' U.S. Bank Tower, the Bali nightclub bombings, the failed bombing of American Airlines Flight 63, the Millennium Plot, and the murder of Daniel Pearl.

However he confessed to all these things after a good session of a game called "waterboarding" or "simulated drowning". Even if he were innocent of 9/11 it's hard to believe he is falsly accused of all that.

You and I may think that he is guilty but legally that is up to a jury to decide.

There's also lots of illegal aliens in America. You argument doesn't work, and I think you know it, ergo the silly statements.

Anyhoo, this horse has been beaten to a stalemate. You may weep for my soul if you wish, but I think baptizing informants is just another thing that was OK with everyone, until Bush started doing it.

    Your point is moot.

    He is being tried.

The question is why does the aclu want to be involved in a case that is not a first amendment case and does not concern an American citizen.

The answer, of course, is that the aclu is interested primarily in cases in which they can aid those who attack the constitution or attack America.

Heads up, Christians!!!!! The ACLU ( Anti Christ Litigation Unit) is Satan's tool for taking over America. It is the most perverse, Communist and dangerous organization that exists today. They tried to force communism down America's throats at the beginning of the 20th century. Finding themselves unwelcome at the front door, they've been slithering in the back door ever since. They champion everything that is
Godless and evil. If you even think your are a Christian, shun this group and do everything in your power to remove them from memory. They are evil personified.
