If so, then lets keep praying for God to guide him and lead him as a baby christian now!

How do you define a Christian? Of course, I don't believe him because of the Biblical quote I posted earlier but I'm not the judge. Do you accept what Jesus said about genuine Christians?

[Mat 7:15 KJV] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
[Mat 7:16 KJV] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
[Mat 7:17 KJV] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

    If not why not?

Trump may believe he is a Christian, but if he's not (I doubt he is) then our course of action is to pray and be a good testimony to him. Frankly, many in the Church have been smug to him (Max Lucado, John Piper, etc.)

Calling Trump a false prophet, though, is beyond stupid. I mean come on. He's not claiming to be a Church authority, he's merely thinks he's a believer. He could be wrong, but our response shouldn't be hostility. Terrible testimony. I have a lot of people in my life who call themselves Christians but likely are not. I keep in contact and hope for open doors to minister to them and tell them the true gospel. You should have the same attitude toward Trump.

Does God require a baby christian to have sinless perfection then?

Does God call us to destroy another professing believer in Christ?
    Or to pray for him?
And to the OP, ONLY American Christiaity that fails woul be the junk theology we export like word of faith/health and wealth!

This is a good point too. You look at Trump's evolution over the past few years and who he's hanging around and it's possible he's a baby Christian with very underdeveloped theology. He's changed his views on a lot of things and seems to be going in the right direction. Faith of a mustard seed is all it takes.

We should all bepraying for him, espcially if now saved, as the media/press and others are tools used by Satan at times...

Just a theory. Been thinking about this a lot. I think there are 3 compromises that have plagued the Church in recent years and are contributing to its demise in America. In no particular order:

    • Compromise on extreme Charisma (word of faith, etc.)
    • Compromise on political liberalism
    • Compromise on the age of the earth

I'm sure there are others, but most Churches will not take a stand of any of these issues, let alone all three. Just a theory.

President Trump has made a profession of faith.
When I think back on my days as a babe in Christ I for one am not going to say he is still lost.

Even at that, as someone (or more than one someone) has said at very least we can pray for him.
Of course if you hate someone then you will not be able to pray for them.

Yes I prayed for president Obama and occasionally still do so.
Also, I have always praised him for his devotion to his family.
He is a model husband and father.
