A number of US homosexual citizens came to Ontario last weekend to marry. It was all over the TV sets, supposedly these persecuted refugees had to flee their country to get justice. Our politicians are caving in to this so-called minority group and it looks like yours are well on their way.I can only speak for myself,i have to say,its the most ungodly thing i've ever seen. Yep... We told you so... Now, Peter Singer will whine that he has to have his way. Animals, after all according to him, are people too.

Hooray! We are being sent a mission field.

A group of us in Ontario are petitioning our government to include the actual wording, "That ministers of churches will not be obligated, by law, to perform gay marriages, unions, or whatever they want to call them."

Then, of course, if we get this wish, they will then want to sue us because we discriminate....How can we win? Preach the word; the gospel. We can't win politically.

And to think that our borders were closed to mad cows!

    Cheers,

    Jim

I am amazed at the small out cry from the church as a whole. We were driving to Maine to church for 17 yrs, where our pastor took a good stand against such things. However when he was called away we decided to attend a small baptist church handy home in NB.What a difference,no confrontation at all, must be tolorant of everybody. When some one from outside the church came and asked us the march on the capital and protest the recent gay rights adgenda, our pastor was visibly upset.
Whatever happened to old fashioned preaching on sin???????????????

It is only the beginning. I am afraid, we as Christians have allowed our rights to be eroded for too long. Things are on the horizon. Dark and dangerous times are coming for true believers. There is coming a time when calling homosexuality a sin and preaching that Jesus' shed blood is the only way to Heaven will be a crime. Yes, dangerous times and persecution are coming on the horizon.
