    That's ludicrous.

    We just gave a failing financial firm a boatload of money. They had money before, and squandered it. You think they're gonna gain 200 IQ points because they got billions of your money and mine? They're gonna screw things up...that's what got them in the mess. And then, who's gonna fix things? The idiots that ruined the company? Or the idiots that gave them money that I legitimately earned...and they didn't?

    The government has no business bailing out failing businesses. We operate on captialism here. What you seem to pine for is another word, also starting with "c," that was a miserable failure.

    I believe this entire AIG charade is just a smoke screen to cover O'bama's charge toward socialism.
