    Donna,
I suggest you don't engage this guy. There is a strict command in the Bible not to. (Matt 7:6) Don't let him get to you.

    Greatday,
You need to apologize to this sweet lady and calm yourself down right now. Christ didn't even talk to hookers the way you talked to her. You ought to be ashamed!

Brother, this is not acceptable language (we stay away from the slurs like "stupid".

Would you like to stay around a while? This is not idle chit-chat. Please watch yourself.

You are missing the point. Earthly "victory" is not formulaic. God's motives and decisions are far more important than yours (or mine). God may choose to bless one person with prosperity, but deny another for good reason. God chose to deny Paul's plea for relief of his thorn. You may want to blame that on Paul, but that's not what the Bible says. God said no, and explained why. Paul understood the reason and explained why it is to God's glory.

The bottom line is that whether God glorifies Himself by blessing you with prosperity or glorifies Himself in your suffering, it is not about you, it is not about Paul, it is all about God.

It is all about Jesus, none about us.
And before anybody jumps down my throat
remember i set by the bed of a dying saint
    for six months. She
had more faith in her little finger
than anybody who has posted on this thread.
But she died anyway. The death of a saint
of God is the ULTIMATE HEALING.

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

And just what are we healed of? The language of Isaiah speaks of the punishment for sin, and Peter speaks of Christ bearing our sins in His own body. So what are we healed of?

My answer is sin. We are not healed in the manner of speaking of sin as a disease. God forbid! That lie has been spread enough. Rather, we are cleansed from the penalty (healed) by Christ taking upon Himself the guilt and punishment of our sins.

    Opinions?

    In Christ,
    Trotter
