Just because something is a sin does not mean that it should be illegal. These United States are not a theocracy and I have no desire to see them become one.

I strongly disagree, any comprimise on the part of a christian is a victory for satan, there is no suvh thing as a lesser of two evils since by the simple logic will tell you both ar evil

This sounds like the same rationale that Rice used to explain her reasons for her support of Hillary Clinton. I agree with the rationale, but I don't expect to pick a candidate until next summer.

As I think Jack Matthews suggested, any vote is a compromise. I have never found a candidate that I agree with completely. The real risk in any election involves the positions that the candidate wants to hide from you. It may be something they want to do after they are elected or something they supported while in office. It takes effort to do the kind of research you need to do to put your mind at ease when you step into the voting booth.

Not exactly the subject at hand, but a fairly typical rationalization for a Christian who supports those who support the murder the unborn and want to institutionalize homosexualty.

I am pro-life and I am for the separation of marriage and state so I know you are not referring to me, carpro.

Then you have no reason to vote, leaving evil men to decide our fate.

Anne Rice also hypocritically says she is pro life and then votes as if she's not. Your statement doesn't say as much about your beliefs and your faith as your vote does.

    Earlier you wrote:

"Just because something is a sin does not mean that it should be illegal."

Need I remind you that murder is and always has been illegal.

Except that killing babies has been legalized, in large part, by Christians who claim they are "pro life" but vote in favor of abortion "rights" candidates.

As it should be as that is a violation of another person's rights.
