Another Republican lawmaker says the House Select Committee on Benghazi is meant to go after the reputation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Rep. Richard Hanna said Wednesday on a radio show in New York said that "a big part of this investigation that was designed to go after people and an individual, Hillary Clinton."

Clinton is scheduled to testify before the panel on October 22.

Brian Fallon, the Clinton campaign's press secretary, said Wednesday that Hanna's comment show that "House Republicans aren't even shy anymore about admitting that the Benghazi Committee is a partisan farce."

Of course it is. And rightly, should be.

She was the one that ignored their repeated calls for extra security and lied about the reasons for the attack. Her behavior over this incident has been cavalier and defensive.

She was in charge. Her incompetence (reputation) should be attacked.

Obama should also be the target of the investigation. He was AWOL and no one, to this day, has any idea where he was or what he was doing.
