Isn't it based upon a different greek text then the "protestant' english bible versions?
I live where Greek Orthodox settled, so I have one to understand them.
Or at least I have what is sold today as the "Orthodox Study Bible".
OT translation is different in places, and has the extra stuff Catholics accept.
NT is the NKJV.
I know a born again Orthodox priest and he told me that the OT in their Bible is translated from the Septuagint. They use the liturgy of Chrysostom.
