I have both and find them useful, but with caution.

The Evidence Bible and the Apologetics Bible both seem to lean YEC and I am old earth creationist.

Both seem to me to lean dispensational premil, so if you are classic premil, amil, or post mil you might fight that annoying.

The Evidence Bible seems Lordship Salvation, so if you aren't it can bug ya.

I do like the Case for Christ Bible better, but again, all three have many excellent points.

If you are looking for a witnessing tool, I recommend either the Billy Graham Training Institute Bible or if you can find one, the old Christian Workers Bible.

Know that the reformation study bible is for reformed/calinistic views, would both of these be good to see how Arminians view the scriptures?

No, for that you might want a Ryrie, a Wesley Study Bible, or ignore the tongues part and best representative of that line I have seen is the Life in the Spirit Study Bible.

i have that version, disregard the pentacostal aspects in it, best part is where it gives both Dispy and "historical views" of the scriptures!

Yes, and again, disregarding the speaking in tongues stuff, interesting to compare the version of holiness found in it with the version of holiness found in MacArthur's.

That is why I currently have the new Scofield/Ryrie/Spirit bibles, as their notes describe differences among believers in how we view the doctrines!
